Becca's 1st Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we took Becca on her first picnic and nature hike. We went to the Madison County Nature preserve where we had lunch and took a walk around the nature preserve too. Even over the rough terrain she still managed to fall asleep. We all had a great time. Here are some of the pictures we took along our way. I certainly couldn't resist taking several pictures of Rebecca with her Daddy, they are too cute together, at least I think so.

This was the water fall that we came upon just as we started out on the nature trail!

How she fell asleep, I don't know but she did. She fell asleep about half way through and stayed asleep until we took her out of the stroller to put her back into the car.

Great-Grandmother's Birthday Weekend

Every year in May we go to Moulton, AL to celebrate Grandmother's Birthday. This year she will turn 97 on May 31st.

We all had fun playing out side on Saturday, it sure was pretty. Here is a picture of some of our cousins riding a little dirt bike!

Here's Hunter on the little bike too, he's even taller than Daddy, he looks funny too. But he sure did have lots of fun, he's Laura's husband (and Ella Tate's Daddy). I will have to wait a few more months to meet my new little cousin Ella Tate, she will be born in September.

My First Wedding

On May 10th on of Daddy's best friends got married and here are some of the pictures that we took while there.

Mommy and I sat with (Aunt) Marsha during the wedding because Daddy and (Uncle) Jason were two of (Uncle) Bill's groomsmen.

Here's one of me and my family, only I wouldn't look at the camera this time. Didn't Daddy look good in his tux??? Even with the pink!!!

Here I am with the groom, (Uncle) Bill, I'm so happy for him and (Aunt) Joanna!!! Bill was upset with Mommy and Daddy because they didn't take me to the rehearsal and dinner the night before so he didn't get to hold me then so he just had to hold me for a while during the reception.

Swimming

Thursday afternoon after Daddy goto home from work we decided to try out our new swimming pool. Can you tell Becca was a little excited??? Or at least that she loves having her picture taken.

Well at first I wasn't too sure about it, but then Mommy moved the sun shied so that I could feel the warm sun, cause the water was cold, and I started having a really good time just sitting there, watching Daddy play with his dart gun and Buddy running around. I even started splashing and moving around a little too! I think I'd like to do this again some time.

Mommy and me after swimming, she wrapped me up in a warm towel and took me in and got me changed and warmed up!
