Christmas with Grammy and Grandaddy

On Friday we took a trip to Jackson so that we could see a few friends and have dinner and open presents with the Johnson's. Becca sure did have a good Christmas!!!! We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with Family and Friends and we wish you a Very Happy New Year!!!

Christmas Day with the Parker Family

We spent Christmas day with Mimi, Pops, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Andy, Nanny, Pawpaw, "Aunt" Shell, "Aunt" Allyson, and "Uncle" Jon. Becca had a great time showing everyone what she got from Santa. She also learned how to say "Shell", and ate off of a spoon all by her self for the first time!!! We had a great time with our family.

Later on in the afternoon, we had a little fun showing her my old tricycle. She cannot reach the petals, but she sure did have fun with daddy pushing her around.

Christmas Morning/Santa

Here is everything before she got up and saw everything that Santa brought here.

Here is her reaction when she saw what Santa brought her.

Here she is playing with her new toys.

Christmas Eve

Here are our cookies and milk for Santa, as well as come carrots for the Reindeer.

After setting out the treats for Santa and his deer, it was time for a cup of milk and a special bedtime story read by Pops (pop pop as she has started saying). She got up in Pop's lap and he read her "The Night Before Christmas". Then it was off for bed to wait for Santa to come!!!!

Becca and Our Tree

Becca was just fascinated by the tree this year, will all the lights and the ornaments. She even helped us put the ornaments onto the tree. She has very much loved going over to the tree and patting the ornaments and the limbs (and sometimes taking the ornaments off the tree too).

Play Time

We have tried to get the whole house baby proofed. The one cabinet that does not have a lock on it is the one that we keep our plastic storage containers in and Becca sure does have a fun time pulling EVERY thing out of it!!!

Becca has figured out how to climb into her toy boxes and loves to climb into them and play with her toys while sitting/standing in side of them. Well they are not exactly toy boxes. They are actually leather storage ottomans that stay in our living room so that we can contain at least some of the toys (since we do not have a dedicated play room) and keep the room more adult friendly too. They work very well for us and is has been fun to watch Becca learn to open them up and now to climb into them too.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we spent most of the week in Jackson with JD's family.
On Thanksgiving Day a couple of Judy's sisters and their family's came over to have lunch with us. Becca and Alana had a wonderful time playing together.

On Friday morning Judy and I got up at 5am and went out shopping. We left Becca, Buddy and the boys sleeping. We got quite a bit of our Christmas shopping done that morning. We had a good time!!!
