HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Six Years ago on this day (Feb 14th) JD ask me to be his wife! In January we celebrated our 11th dating anniversary, and May 31st will be our 6th Wedding Anniversary!

To All of Our Family & Friends, We Love You!!!

We hope that each one of you takes this time to remember those that you love and let them know how much you love them!

Enjoy the following pictures:

Her hair looked so cute the other day that I decided to do it again this morning so that I could use her Valentine's bows that go with her Valentine's tights and she could wear them to church this morning. I know there are not very many pictures of the tow of us together...but that's because I'm usually the one behind the camera. But this morning Daddy was the one in charge of taking the pictures while I was trying make sure we had everything together so here are a few of his girls.

All ready for Valentine's Day! Our cute little Valentine!!!
This was the first time that I fixed her hair this way. It sure looked cute and she actually left it alone for most of the day.

These were taken the other day, I was in another part of the house cleaning something up and she was in her room playing and all of the sudden got quiet, so when I got through I went in her room because it had been a couple of minutes since the last time I heard her talking or playing, and this is what I found. It was so cute I just had to take some pictures.

She even fell asleep holding onto her play phone.

Big Girl Room

Around Christmas we Rebecca started climbing on anything and everything she could including the sides of the pack n play and her crib. So we have moved her into a toddler bed in her "Big Girl Room" to prevent her from climbing out of the crib and getting hurt. So far she has done very well. We did have a few issues at first with napping. She was not taking as many nor as long of naps, and for the first week flat out refused to take a nap in her "Big Girl Bed". But now she is doing better about taking her naps in her bed and better about not playing until 10 pm before going to bed. I think it has also helped that I added a blackout lining to her curtains. We decided to move her into the former guest room across the hall from the nursery so that in the future when we decide to try to give her a little brother or sister we will be able to still use the nursery...and we both just LOVE the nursery. So here are some pictures of her new room, her in her room, and just some random pictures taken over the past months.

View of the room from the door

Here is a closer up view of her name...the REBECCA was in her nursery I just repainted it and added the ANNE to it.

Here is a better view of her bed. It is just way too cute!!!!!

Here you can see the closet door and some of her toys.

Here is a view towards the door.

Here is the back of her door, where I taped up on of the balloons from her birthday party since it has butterflies and flowers on it.

You cannot see very well in this picture but the knobs are flowers and butterflies just like on her walls. We will probably eventually paint it white to match the bookcase and we will probably get her a white twin bed when she out grows this one.

Here is the window and my makeshift balloon valance (using ribbon and a sheer).

Here are the butterflies that she pointed out while we were shopping at Hobby Lobby (for the paint and the other letters for her name). We also found this message board. She also has several pictures of us with her and just us as well as a picture of each of her grandparents with her too.

Here she is drinking her milk and playing on her bed while I was moving her clothes, books, and toys over from the nursery. She was very excited because she could get into the bed all by her self. She also helped to pick out the stickers that we put on the wall, the comforter, and several of the other things that we added to this room to make it special. It was really cute. Before we got the bed and I was cleaning out the room and getting it ready to move everything out I started moving some of the stickers over so that I could see how they would look on that wall color. I told her that I was starting to work on her "Big Girl Room" so she started trying to peal off the stickers to help me and then would bring her stuffed animals and other toys into the room and give them to me when ever I was working in there. We were not really ready to make this transition into being a "Big Girl", but she has done REALLY well!

Our First attempt at a nap...she didn't (and still doesn't like the pillow) and it only lasted about 5 min or less.

The following are just some random pictures that I have taken over the past month that I wanted to share so enjoy.
