Trip to the Nashville Zoo

We took Becca to the Nashville Zoo on Labor Day. She had a great time looking at all the different animals. She loved the "Gators", Zebras, Elephants, and Giraffes the most. We ended up meeting some of our friends there (Keith, Emily, Noah, and Benjamin) and spend a great day together. All three of the kiddos really enjoyed looking at all of the animals.

While we were standing looking at the Elephants, one of them walked from the far end over just in front of where we were standing. It was kind of funny because it walked over there after one of the boys started playing with his toy elephant that every time you pull on the handle it opens its mouth and trumpets. It was really neat.

We let the kids play around in the HUGE jungle gym, but all three of them enjoyed the "tot lot" the best, since they could climb on things and jump around a lot. Emily and I enjoyed it too since it was much cooler in there with a little breeze blowing too.

Here you can see Emily helping the boys "ride" and elephant inside of the tot lot.

Becca just being silly!!!

JD and Keith just enjoying sitting down in the shade, well somewhat shady spot. They enjoyed talking as well as well as watching the kids play.

Becca LOVED the Zebras and even said Zebra.

The Lynx.

Pretty Birds

Becca enjoyed looking at all the animals in the reptile exhibits. Especially since they were low or had a platform that she could stand on to see everything.
