Happy Halloween!!!

Last year was her first Halloween, but this year was the first time for her to wear a Halloween costume, and what else would we dress our little pumpkin as, but a pumpkin!!!

The day after her birthday Becca, Buddy and I hitched a ride back over to Memphis with Mimi and Pops to spend the week with them. I had to go to 2 days of seminars so that I could get all of my live continuing education hours to renew my pharmacist license this year and they got the perk of spending the week with us. I sure am glad that we were there because we had to take Pops to the hospital that evening. He was having some chest pain and so Mimi, Becca and I took him to the hospital and they kept him over night; the next day his cardiologist took him to the cath lab where he found that one of the stints that he had put in 2 years ago had partially collapsed and subsequently developed an 80% blockage at that sight. So it was not a very good start to the week, but I sure am glad I was there.

On Saturday their church was having a cook out and Trunk-or-Treat so we took Becca and she had a great time!!! And she sure did look cute in her costume. When we ran out of candy as it was starting to get cold and we were ALL getting tired, we decided to pack up and go home where we sat and watched the Bama-UT game and ate Chili!!!!

She did not want to walk around or carry her pumpkin pail, but she enjoyed being carried around and when she was given some candy she would put it into the pale so that she would be free to get more. She also had a great time watching all the other children. She didn't seem frightened at all by any of the costumes or decorations. We had a really good time!!!

I had to go to the doctor today for my 3 week check up after having sinus surgery early this month, and since it was Halloween Day I just had to dress her up one more time in her Halloween clothes. She sure is cute, and had a good time at the doctor's office and then shopping at Target. Though this evening she was too interested in playing wither her party balloons than helping Mommy and Daddy hand out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. Oh well, she'll have a big day tomorrow with all of the Johnson Family in Moulton for our family Thanksgiving Dinner.

Happy Halloween Everyone, Love Rebecca Anne!!!
